SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know. I I could pay you for it. So, uh Jane Show, you've been out here making music for a minute. Um, you know what I'm saying? I've been to a couple of your shows and stuff. So, how did you get started making music?
SPEAKER_04How did I get started making music? Uh I really, I mean, I've been music started making me. Let's start there. I didn't this is just, I don't know. Like, I grew up singing in church, different places my whole entire life. I've always been in love with music. I think the individuals in my family who are there's they feel strongly about music. I got a lot of good game at a young age, and I couldn't help but want to do that. So I think that's just really what it was.
SPEAKER_01Like, did you have any solos in church? Because you got a beautiful voice.
SPEAKER_04Oh, thank you, thank you. I mean, of course, man. My dad was a pastor for a little bit, so I mean I was a PK. So you know I would get on the mic.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, they used to push you. Yeah. I I have friends who have to go to church every day. As soon as they turn 18, they never step foot in another church.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. It does be like that.
SPEAKER_01I would I think I went to your church. I saw your brother playing the drums. I had to go in there for my son's award. I was upset too by the judge because she showed up late.
SPEAKER_04Oh, be like that also.
SPEAKER_01No, no, I don't like I don't like being forced to go to church. I want to go to church because I want to go there. I don't like being forced, but it's cool. We we got through it, she bought me dinner. We fine. We fine. Shout out to the judge. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, then you in there, but yeah, I definitely grew up in a church. Um, so I think that stems a lot of it. And I mean, I did a lot of talent shows, plays, poems, Christmas plays, church plays, and stuff growing up. So I think all the theatrics and just what it means to be an artist was already the foundation was already there. I just have to walk the path. So that's why I said music started making me like oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01So wait, you said you were in church plays, right? Like, what has that made you want to pursue acting?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, for sure. I mean, we did uh back in the day, they used to do these children's admiral at the Admiral Theater.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Every summer they used to do like children's plays. So me, all my cousins, my brothers, we would all go down there, and we all had a like a leading role back in the day. Like Jameer had a leading role in uh one of the plays. I had like a lead role, and my oldest brother, he had a lead role on the play, so it just my my cousins too, they were also in the background of the plays, too.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, my church didn't like me, so they they gave me the bad roles, like I had to be Judas one time, I had to be Pompous Pilot, and then they made me the devil, yeah, like yeah, but you was in there though, so shout out to you. I was, I was, and I was the devil all the time. I got I got to use the pastor's hat.
SPEAKER_04I was like, hey, yeah, it's like nine.
SPEAKER_01Oh lord, it was cracking, it was cracking. Yeah, so hey, you've been you've been putting out a lot of music recently. Like, how do you feel about the the scene out here in Kit Sap County? Like when it comes to like doing shows or music or working with artists.
SPEAKER_04Um, I think as far as doing shows, there could be more shows that happen, but I also I think there's a there's a great music scene here. There's a lot of potential, there's a lot of people who are out here doing their shit right now. So I mean, I'm happy to be a part of it. So I think it's great. Everybody's out here doing their shit, making moves, doing their thing. Shout out to YB. I got all my soul.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was about to say, yeah.

SPEAKER_04Yeah, shout out to brother, you know. But yeah, I think there's a great music scene going on right now, especially like there's a lot of talent. There's a lot of people who have something to offer to the game right now, and that's what the game needs. So I'm here for it personally.
SPEAKER_01Do you feel everybody gets along, or do you feel it's still kind of a competition thing?
SPEAKER_04I mean, I rap is a competitive sport.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's a competitive sport regardless, so there's always gonna be that little the competing, the uh are not really competing, but just like you know, there's everybody strives for greatness. Everybody wants to be the best, everybody wants to be the one. But everybody can be the one in their own lane, also. So I think people who the niggas who want to get along get along.
SPEAKER_01That is true. I like the way you put that. You know what I'm saying? Because it's you know, there's there's so many rappers out here. Like, I met most of them. There's a new guy, like I I gotta figure out if it's AI or not, because he's just pumped he's been pumping out too much music for me. Um, I mean, like, how do how do you feel having to compete with AI artists?
SPEAKER_04Man, I hate that shit, nigga. AI is not real. That shit's not real. I think it's cool for like maybe for prompts or different ideas or like you know, helping with like engineering and shit. But you if you didn't okay, I'll tell you like this. Even if a person wrote the lyrics like, oh yo, I can't sing, I can't rap, but I wrote this and I put it into this fuser, and now it sounds like this, but these are my words, I I would respect that also. Because there's motherfuckers who make music and you know, they don't write or make their own beats and stuff. So I think AI could be good for that way, but you have to be honest about it. I personally I don't fuck with it because it's making people, even with the pictures, motherfuckers is taking pictures and acting like it's really them and it ain't, or making music and acting like it's really them and it ain't. Maybe there's aspects or features of some of them, but it's not really them, it's not their full essence.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the pictures is um, you know, it depends on how you use it. Like I use I I would edit my own photos anyways before AI, and now I just get to shortcut where I don't have to sit there and put 20 filters on there, edit this out, do that. That's what I do.
SPEAKER_04But nigga, editing and editing to make something look distorted or different features or whatever, whatever to the actual photo is one thing, but taking yourself and making your shit new or not, it's not really you, that's just lame out.
SPEAKER_01I've seen the take like I've seen it like one time we had this comic, he don't watch my stuff no ways, but he was ugly and it made him look good. And he was upset, he's like, that don't look like me. I'm like, yeah, it's you just skinnier with no pimples. Like, um, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean, shout out to everybody that that fucks with the AI shit, though. If that's your thing, but as long as I mean, as long as niggas is honest about it, because I mean all that shit sounds like sis of K Lani. So we know that it's not you.

SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna lie, this long girl on the bait, nigga, I really thought that was her. It was it, and the song slapped, but it's I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't fuck with that.
SPEAKER_01Well, the thing with AI, right? All it can do is it can only copy what's already been made. That's what I'm saying. And so nowadays, nowadays, like you have to be creative in what you're doing and have your own lane. Like, because like even now, it's like you can't copy. I mean, you can copy someone's style, but it's not gonna work out for you. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's definitely and so I know a lot of people like that.
SPEAKER_04Fuck AI, yes, sister. We we we me and you, we see odd eye on that, man. Fuck AI. I think it's cool for people who need like, oh, you know, nigga, if you start a business and it gives you ideas, prompts. I can respect that, but say that that helps you do it. Don't say like, oh nigga, check out my photo shoot, oh nigga, this me or this, you know, like yeah. Just be honest about it, because we can tell, like, nigga, all the flyers when people use AI, all that shit looks now the same. It looks exactly.

Like, for me, if I use AI, I'm like, hey, I just made a whole AI video for a fucking character I just created in my head. Yeah, right? But then I was like, yo, I'm gonna do it like this. I mean, I did media shows in there, I did a video in there, I had my run, we had a ball on that bitch for the shows that we did have, or I got to be a part of. So I mean, I threw my 30th birthday in that bitch, and it was a time. I was I mean, oh, we was lit. We was lit, nigga. I hit my head on the glass on my way out. We and my one of my old boys, nigga. He hugged me, nigga. We fell to the floor.

SPEAKER_01It all is out here. We don't have like I'm surprised the nightclub lasted that long. Because usually clubs don't last out here. You know, can't cause we have so many fights and stuff. And so, Jane the show, you've been you've been doing a lot of shows. Like, I remember one time I was out there in Tacoma and you popped up, and I didn't recognize you because you changed your clothes and I got a bad memory. And I know you felt some type of way about it, and I wanted to apologize.

SPEAKER_01We was out in the coma. Where was it? It was um Taize and Tanaja or Taizee and Taiwan.

SPEAKER_01I was only there for a short time. It was fun though.
SPEAKER_04I did do a show there, though. Hey, shout out to my nigga Mace. Mace for the chat pretended. Yeah, yeah, I did I do remember that though. Because I do remember uh because they're like brother and sister or something, but yeah, yeah, but yeah. The show, yeah, yeah. But I do remember that night. That was a like I said, I don't know, they got to be outside. I'll make out trying to make waves.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, what's the last thing? What's the last time you did a show?
SPEAKER_04Last time I did a show, I got invited to legendary AF for the third time. And I didn't perform because that was like a bad because they do like different types of snakes by yourself, yeah. They do stuff like dedicated the first time they did it, dedicated to artists, dedicated to fashion, and this one was like dedicated to dance. But that's the last like thing I did, and it was lit. When I walked in the room, that's how I knew that was like okay, then she just bubbling up because when I walked in the room, I didn't perform because niggas was like Jay Nashville, oh like whole room full of niggas from Tacoma, Seattle, and they show me like big love, like and how did that feel? Man, that was amazing. That's how I knew. I was like, okay, we got some shit going. Okay, okay, cool. That was a lot of love. But like I said, like the legendary AF show was the last show I did. But the first show that I did with them, they ended up being on the news. Like I met Basil Gordon, yeah. Oh, yeah, check check the gram. It's on there, but uh, I met Basil Gordon, she gave me like a nice interview, and that's when she really liked went a different way. Yeah, that's with music, and I got more fans in Tacoma, Seattle, Federal Way, and I go like when I went on to the club on my birthday, they was like, Oh, she just had Jane the Shay over here, and I was in Tacoma, so they that felt like wow. But I I I I try to be humble though, I don't like to let that shit bubble my head because that's supposed to rub a lot of niggas, but but feeling that love will make you feel like that, but you gotta stay with it.
SPEAKER_01It's it it'll bubble your head, it's supposed to, right? Supposed to make you feel special, but it's all about what you express after that. You know what I'm saying? You don't be like, get out of my way, bitch, just my parking spot. Get my subway sandwich first. You know what I mean? Right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right. So you you've been out here. How many artists have you worked with so far?
SPEAKER_04Shit, man. We're like just in general, I've worked with a lot of artists, yeah. A lot of people, a lot of rim.
SPEAKER_01Because you I know you just dropped a song, but you have a song with Cut and Mace. Or it's just Mace, isn't it yeah?
SPEAKER_04No, it's Cut and Mace. We don't get this right. It's Cut and Mace featuring Jaden Shill. That's their record. It's our record, but that's their song, and I'm just blessing the hook and whatnot. Shout out to them for letting me uh do that because that was a you know, we slapped that shit together some some well, I slapped my shit together some slight, and it just worked out perfectly. But yeah, cut mace, obviously being mere YB. Um, I hope to do a record with J3's. We're we're definitely lining that up.

SPEAKER_01But yeah, I thought I was talking to Yuck Mouth after the show, then I tried to get him in McClouds, and they were like, nah, we're not letting anybody else in. I'm like, that's Yuck Mouth, he made I got five on it. They're like, nobody's coming back in, and so I was like, whatever. Now I think they ended up going to the garage, but I just went home. I don't like don't I don't like drinking at the garage, it's too far away.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, like back in the day, but it used to be Romeo's, right? So we would sit there at the end of the night and we'd wait for the first three cars to leave because the cops just they can just pick somebody, you're done. They wrap them up, and then we got to drive all the way back to the east side. Like, I just got tired of that. Yeah, McCloud's yeah, McCloud's, I could do donuts in the parking lot for the police and leave, and they just they're cool with it.
SPEAKER_04You used to. You went to the one over there, not the one, the one by where it used to be my papa's. You can't do that shit no more, the one that not at the end.
SPEAKER_01I did I did it on my birthday, right? Like it was foggy, New Year's Eve.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I'm in the parking lot doing donuts around my friend. He's looking, waiting for his uh looking for his car keys. I'm doing donuts, right? And then I pull out to the light and it was foggy, and the cops are all across the street. I was like, I was hella drunk. Yeah, they didn't even fuck with me. I always tell people I don't put lotion on my feet, they're white. So, like, you know, keeping it. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, hell no. Let's get to the music. We're not talking about how she has taken. Okay, okay, oh no, no. But all in all, I've worked with a lot of artists. Yeah, like I said, and I plan to work with more. I feel like everybody in the city should work together at least once. So yeah, I mean, I would like to work. Um, well, we know what there's a few niggas like Jordy Sam. When I first did music or when I recorded my first song, yeah, he helped me do that. Like he went to his house, shout out my nigga Geordie Sam. I went to his house and he like kind of showed me because I grew up seeing a church, right? So it's like this ain't like barbers. So he's showing me like, look, this is how you present yourself on the mic, this is how you project your voice, this is how you enunciate. Because you know, church, they're not gonna boo you in there. No, booth is different, like nigga, it's a different focus. So it's like, okay, he gave me the ins and outs on how to do that shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and then booth is different. Like, you gotta look, you gotta be straight on the mic. You can't be like, you know, doing all this.
SPEAKER_04Shit, nigga, I'm in there with my eyes closed. Nigga, you just be like, nigga, what are you doing? Hey, I'm in there, lights off, eyes closed. But I mean, even when I because I gotta feel the money, I record, but Jordy Sam, when I did my first first record, chosen one, he mixed it for me. And he showed me the game of like how you're recording, and he was a recorder from home, so it was a different feel. And at the time, I believe I was going to the art institute at the time. I did go to the art institute to see how I was an engineer for a little bit so I could learn like a music engineer?

SPEAKER_04No, hell no, nigga. The school ended up shutting down anyway, but I had left before that because it was just a lot on me. And like, nigga, we had to record a band. I had like a class that was like eight hours or something.

SPEAKER_04Like in one day I was like, nigga, we're thinking about it. I wasn't working at the time. I mean, they shut down now, nigga. From it was like, I don't know, stealing money from the students or something.
SPEAKER_02Damn.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so bitch, student loans are gone. Shout out to that. Shit, off my cat for I'm cool. Like, nigga, I'm cool with that. But for real. But I mean, yeah, I did go there. I did learn a lot. I met a lot of people. I learned how to edit videos and stuff as well as do audio stuff. So it kind of just kept the interest there. But it was cool though. But yeah. Shit, that sounds pretty dope. SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, I never went to school for nothing like that. Like, as soon as I got out of high school, I was done. I went to college for like two weeks, and then I was like, yeah, this ain't for me. I'll just figure it out. And now I'm here.

SPEAKER_01So there was a there was a lot of controversy going on a couple months ago. Um, I just want to kind of ask your opinion about it. You know, saying people were making Kidsap County rapper lists, artists were beefing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01All right. So, you know, there was a lot of controversy going on, and it's it's kind of died down a little bit, but it kind of sparked back up too. So, how did you feel about all the uh the drama and the happenings going on in Kit Tap County when everyone was, you know, beefing over the hip hop, the Kit Tap County list, and they were coming at your brother, and you know what I'm saying? They were saying about you not being on it, and how did you feel about that?
SPEAKER_04I mean, I did feel the way because it's just like, are you niggas gonna ignore me? Are you niggas gonna leave me out the chat? Like, I'm not out here making moves, but at the same time, though I deal with facts, not feelings. So if niggas is on here arguing about their feelings, everybody can feel like that they're nick that they're that nigga. That's not factual. I basically mine based off facts. I mean, it did feel like a slap of the face for all the hard work that I have done, but I'm not gonna disrespect that at least that was made. Because nigga, if this was 2015, that shit will be accurate. The first list they made, if it was 2015, 2016, that shit might have made sense. But it doesn't make sense in 2026. And whoever, like, like I said, all the lists, they're all opinion-based. It's not based off of who sold the most and who did what it's their homies, who they feel like, oh well, nigga, I'm him, so I'm gonna put myself first and do this. Or nigga, these are my friends. I'm finna. It's all based on what they think. Yeah, and nigga, I mean like what they think and what we see is what's going on. Well, somebody made one guy made it nigga who knows.
SPEAKER_01One guy made a chat GPT one. He was like, Chat G, he asked chat chat GPT, and uh, the crazy thing is they put my old rap name on there, you know what I'm saying? Because I was on both of them. I was so upset when they put me on that first one because I had to be in the discussion. They could have gave that to somebody else. Like, I don't care about being on anybody's list out here. Um you know what I'm saying, because I know what I've done, I've I know what I've achieved, and if you can beat me, then you can't.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but at the same time, though, I'm not gonna be like, nigga, I was I wasn't too booty tickle because like as you saw, I said nothing. Just let niggas is a dick swing contest, in my personal opinion. I feel like I kind of got left out because I was a female, yeah. But I'm a female who has motion, so it's just like all you can't say is she's dope. Can't really say too much.
SPEAKER_01You know, I said I said the same thing because I was like, look, this it's like it seemed like he went back in the time and made that list, but it also like when the guy made the chat GPT one, he would he based it off, you know, internet presence, plays, and all this stuff. And the crazy thing is about it out here, people don't even realize the number one artist still active right now, it's concrete.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, I uh I don't know if I believe that. Shout out to Concrete. I I mean I hear you say that on all your the most successful, it's concrete, yeah. Doing some shows, but I mean, if that's how you feel about it, I I I've never heard the nigga's music. I I met him actually, I met him a few years ago. No, I'm not gonna lie, like I haven't met the nigga before because I have, but I see the type of music he makes and shit, and he's a successful artist to his genre, to his genre, exactly. Yeah, he is hockey of a man, but nigga, there's other niggas out here putting rubber to roll, belt to ass.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's I'm not gonna be like, oh, he's number one, nigga, because yeah, I mean, like, but as when it comes success-wise, I'd be at and I'm not saying it's concrete. Like, if you follow his page, he's always doing shows in front of hundreds and thousands of people, you know what I'm saying? Like doing his thing.

SPEAKER_04I'm never gonna hate on somebody with saying making moves and doing their shit, but he maybe he's number one where you have, but I I don't I don't know. Does he what does he do? Is he like a rock artist or is he?
SPEAKER_01No, he does um it's like horror horror core. Rap is what he does, kind of like that.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, so kind of like you know, kind of like you know, like insane clown posse kind of music.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, right. Uh yeah. I said concrete out the city, he's number one. And then uh they had Shelton once his name was on there too on that list. But Shelton, yeah, I mean, ain't nobody touching his numbers because he did like 23 million, I believe, 23 million plays. I knew most of the artists on there except for maybe five of them.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, does any does Shelton still make music today?
SPEAKER_01I don't think so, no. Oh, well then, like I said, actually, no, he did he did make a came out in 2015.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that shit will be accurate. I don't feel like that list is accurate. It did say of all time, and that's cool. And whoever was there, because like I I I watched everybody's shows, and I think niggas forget that just because that was 15 years ago, like mind you, I'm 32. So nigga, I was 17 in 18, 19. I remember niggas selling CDs outside my mom's barber shop and getting it out the trunk and doing all that, but nigga, times change.

SPEAKER_04I mean, shit, it speaks for itself. I've been making music for so long that like niggas know that I make music. So when I drop music or when I post stuff, they see, they know. I mean, I I promote my music pretty well. I don't I don't ever want to like I get the the push it down their throat, keep dropping content, keep dropping content, but niggas attention spans ain't even that long. You gotta spoon feed the crowd because that's that's how they at least that works for me and how I do things. Like, I mean, I don't I don't think it's nothing wrong with flooding the TL. Yeah, you see me on the TL regardless. Yeah and that's not no cocky shit, but it's just like there it's gonna you're gonna see me regardless, whether I post it every day or not. Nigga, I get on Facebook, I have notifications every day. You know what I'm saying? Like, but it doesn't feel like oh wow, nigga, I've been making music, I've been a popular person, and I've been from a well-known family. I'm from the city, I'm well known regardless. It's just like people are just seeing me. What I would do in private is just now in public. Like I was writing music since I was a teenager, rewriting songs, writing class anthems and stuff since the beginning. So now that I'm like sharing it, putting it out, and I mean, but I'm not the only one that's out here making music though either. So it's just like there's a pool of people making music, and I just I just put it out how I feel is necessary.
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, do you got a got you got an album coming out?
SPEAKER_04I do, I do have a project coming out. I'm hoping it'll be out by the end of summer, early fall. But I don't like to rush the process either. I still got jams that's gonna be released for the summer anyway, so I'm not too stressed about it. But at the same time, I do have a project I am working on.
SPEAKER_01So you got a name for the project?
SPEAKER_04Nah, I do, but uh we're not doing that yet.

SPEAKER_04A little bit of both, actually. A little bit of both. I always like to that's the thing about me. It's just like, nigga, I'm a true, I'm an artist. So whatever comes out of my mouth, that's what it is. Sometimes I'm gonna sing, sometimes I'm a rapper, sometimes I'm a T-Pane. You just never know. Like, that's the beauty of being able to do all.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So no, that's pretty dope. That's pretty dope. So how how do you feel you how do you feel you've been received in your city when it comes to music?
SPEAKER_04I think I'm received well, whether it's uh private or public. I think it's received. You know, I don't I mean, I think it's received well. I don't I only focus on the love. I don't really know what hate niggas say because that's not that's in the rear view.
SPEAKER_01That's good too. I feel like a lot of that throws off a lot of artists too. It's like a lot of people, a lot of artists I've seen, because I've interviewed people for years, right? Yeah, and a lot of artists they they focus on the negativity, like you know, they'd be like, Oh, these people don't like me, and then now they're trying to impress the people that don't like them, you know what I'm saying? And it's it's a it's a losing battle. Because at the end of the day, it's like you know, take your fans, take the people that like what you like you, and focus on them. Because if you're focusing on these people that don't like you, they're never gonna like you anyways. And at the end of the day, people that don't like you don't spend money with you, right?
SPEAKER_04Right, right, right. But nigga, whether they like you or not, nigga, if your music's hard enough, they gonna they don't fuck with it anyway.

SPEAKER_04It was cool. It was like a small cafe type vibe. It was cool. I like Portland. Like the nice heat he invited me to come out there, and that shit was cool.
SPEAKER_01So, yeah, no, I like Portland. Man, I was down there with my son a while ago. I like I'm gonna start trying to interview people down there too. I want to get the whole Northwest into the fold. I feel like the Northwest, like I you I watch the show, I say it all the time. It's like it's the last untapped potential in hip hop for all of us. The only thing is that we all just need to get that competitive. It's good to be competitive, but like when it becomes to the part where it's like you feel you have to hate on somebody, you know what I'm saying, to get a get up and above, that's that's when it becomes a problem. Because if we can make a movement, there's so much talent out here, so much. I find it all the time, all the time. And so, is there I know we talked about artists you wanted to work with, and so how how was life for you growing up in the city? Because you've been out here all your life, right?

SPEAKER_04Let's see that shit. I mean, a lot has happened, but I mean I don't know. I mean, I don't know what you mean. Like, what how was it like niggas?

SPEAKER_04I mean, it's been a ball for me. I mean, I've had ups and downs that were all that's why I'm saying even now, like with the music, like I've already been a popular person. Like when my mom passed away, whole city was there, whole city was shut down. Grown niggas crying, like you know what I'm saying? Like, there's just been I've just seen it all, I've seen a lot. So, but I mean, I'm not gonna hate on my experience. I think Brematon's a nice, lovely town to raise your children.

It's it's not a perfect place, but it is it. I like it because we're all military personnel, you know what I'm saying, in some form or fashion. You know what I'm saying? Like you either work with the military, work in the shipyard, you work you were in the navy, but it's like you have that underlining kind of like you know, American vibe here. But um, so Jayna Shell, what can we expect from you in the future?

SPEAKER_04I mean, no, there's ups and downs when you really make music. I I grew with my music because like I said, I've been making music for a long time. So I haven't let anything stop me. I think there's been like slower time periods where I don't write. I'm just living life. But it's a it's a constant, it's not a it's not ever smooth sailing.

Because once you once you get that first like bar or set two two bars out there, you're good to go. That's how I am. You know what I'm saying? Because I still make music, but I'd rather do this now because I don't want to, I just don't want to do it. I don't want to go to the shows. I mean, I love going to the shows, I just don't, you know, I just like to make music for myself. Like you said, I make music to hear myself talk.

SPEAKER_04But I feel like my songs, but they they they're they're still channeling from the from God and the higher higher power. So it's like this this is still gospel, it's not just it's not uh it's not gospel, it's not church appropriate, but nigga, there's still a message behind the music, definitely for sure. Every time I write, I try to make sure I I leave you with something on a nasty ass beat that either if I'm talking shit or I'm saying something real, it's there's a message. I I meant it, and I didn't think of that. I was doing that until I listened to myself back and I was hearing like, oh, I'm a more of a writer, like singing and rapping, that's natural to me, but like that writing, that pushing that pin, both my mother and father pushed their pins. They were both good speakers, and like, you know, they were in the ministry. My dad is in love with rap, so it's just like he made us used to make us freestyle back in the day against each other and learn certain songs and pop songs, so it's like the music. Like, I I channel my inspiration from all kinds of places.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I used to make my kids rap battle too. Like if we last or something, I make them rap battle over it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and even like my bad messy bad news, neither we we talk about music all the time too. We grew up together singing in church.

SPEAKER_04Listen, here's here's how I'm gonna keep this. If I threw a Bripton hip hop festival, the festival will be hip hop of Bremerton artists. There is a few niggas that's there, and like you said, I should I see your perspective, but if it's uh you had me, then you lost me. Because I feel like everybody should have just been a part of it. Like, I don't know how you gonna ask me to send my music in to be played? You're not gonna leave me on stage.

I think maybe everybody would have everybody would jump on that. But he just came out, he had an idea, and he wanted to work with people. So we tagged all the artists in there, right?
